In January, the gates of The Alnwick Garden closed to the public but there was still plenty going on behind the scenes with our ‘Big January Clean Up 2026’.
Several local businesses joined us to swap their usual office space for pruners, gloves and the satisfaction of making a difference!

Our community gardening programme, which creates opportunities for young people with additional needs, is taking part in its most ambitious project yet, thanks to a collaboration with national partnership housing specialist Lovell.
The Alnwick Garden’s Young Gardeners have designed and created their first commercial garden, currently at the show home of the new Edward’s Birch development being built by Lovell in Morpeth.
